Meet Dr. Anika Hoybjerg
Dr. Anika Hoybjerg, Ph.D., BCBA-D, is a leader dedicated to transforming lives through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). With over 20 years of experience in public schools and private practice, her mission is to empower individuals with autism to reach their full potential.
Dr. Hoybjerg holds a Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis, advanced degrees in education and human development, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D). Her mix of academic expertise and practical experience makes her a leader in the ABA field.
Anika founded Autism & Behavioral Intervention (ABI) in 2013 to provide high-quality, evidence-based services for individuals with autism. Her work emphasizes kindness as the core of therapy, fostering meaningful progress. For Dr. Hoybjerg, kindness isn’t just a method; it’s the key to effective therapy and lasting change.
Dr. Hoybjerg developed the Meaningful Outcomes Treatment and Assessment Scale (MOTAS), a tool designed to improve independence and quality of life for individuals with autism. She has shared her research nationally and internationally, advocating for both quality and compassion in ABA practices.
Anika’s passion lies in helping children and families. She finds joy in celebrating milestones and supporting her thriving team. Her work focuses on connection, progress, and making a lasting impact.
